Lewisham Riverbank Repair
Following a bank collapse along the River Ravensbourne, Spring Collective was commissioned by the NHS Trust to design and oversee essential stabilisation works to protect hospital infrastructure and restore the river corridor.
We developed a sustainable retaining wall solution using gabion baskets, geotextiles, and pre-planted coir rolls to reinforce the bank and improve long-term habitat value. The design was submitted to and approved by the Environment Agency under an environmental permit exemption.
