Spring Collective is an integrated design & environmental engineering consultancy dedicated to reimagining how water shapes our cities, landscapes and communities.

Our network of trusted specialists work with architects, developers, communities and local authorities to create nature-based solutions that restore water cycles, reduce flood risk, and bring greenery and biodiversity back into urban spaces.

With every project - whether catchment-wide planning, wetland restoration, or a single SuDS scheme - we strive to maximise environmental and financial benefits all while prioritising community needs.

With stewardship and long-term monitoring embedded in our ethos, our approach extends beyond project design and delivery. By tracking key outcomes, we reveal the true impact of our projects, driving investment and inspiring the stakeholders of the future.

OUR APPROACH

WE RESTORE

We restore natural water cycles, turning rainwater into a resource that enriches community, place and the environment.

WE UNLOCK

We unlock the full potential of spaces, using a bottom-up approach to understand local needs and shape solutions that deliver lasting benefits.

WE ACCELERATE

We accelerate delivery by aggregating benefits across a catchment, creating impactful, nature-based solutions at scale.

Spring Collective is led by Marcus Gayle, an award-winning SuDS designer, civil engineer and leading expert in nature-based flood adaption. He is a chartered member of CIWEM, the Institute of Water and Environmental Management.

Marcus has been delivering innovative nature-based flood resilience schemes in his home city of London for more than a decade.
